Secure & Private

The YI Dome Camera U Pro was made with privacy in mind. Simply flip the lid of the camera to turn on “Sleep Mode” whenever you want to disable the camera’s ability to record and set a PIN Code in the YI Home APP for an extra layer of protection. Once "Sleep Mode" is enabled, the camera lens will automatically rotate downwards inside of the case to protect your privacy.

See faces captured in your alerts with ease. The integrated Senslab chip allows the YI Dome Camera U Pro to quickly detect faces and create an instant summary of all the faces in your video, without having to watch the entire clip.

AI-powered Human Detection is more advanced than traditional PIR or motion detection. Featuring built-in new sensors and highly accurate human detection technology, it can reduce “false positives” alarms caused by plants, animals, or small insects. Only sending you alerts when it matters!

Two-Way Audio & Sound Detection

Built-in speaker and microphone allow you to interact with your family members and pets. Instant notification will be sent to your smartphone when the camera detects baby crying, dog barking, and any other abnormal sounds, keeping you aware of what's going on at home from anywhere you are.

Pin Protection

To increase the camera’s security, there’s an option to protect your feed with PIN protection. When enabled, this option asks you to enter a four-digits PIN code before you could log onto the camera’s video stream. It provides peace of mind that unwanted viewers can't hack into the feed.

Dual Storage Options for Increased Security

Store your data and recordings: locally with an extra SD card (not included) or in the cloud. YI Cloud offers loop-recording with no storage limit, so even if your camera is stolen or damaged, your footage will still be secure and accessible on the cloud. Users are guaranteed secure access with financial-industry standard encryption.

Setting Up Your Camera With YI Home App

1.Install YI Home App and create a YI Home Account
2.Turn your camera on and select the '+' icon in YI Home App to add your camera
3.Select your Wi-Fi network and enter your Wi-Fi password, then select Connect to Wi-Fi
4.Scan the QR Code shown on the app, then select Next once the QR Code has scanned
5.Select Save, then select Start using to finish pairing
6.If connection failed, please push the Reset button and try again

WiFi Settings

1.YI Home cameras will need to connect to a 2.4GHz band network. 5GHz WiFi band is not supported
2. Turning on the location service on the phone if you encounter Unknown SSID issue
3.Encryption mode must be set to WPA/WPA2 (mixed mode) or WPA2
4.Your Wi-Fi password must be 8-20 characters in length
