Refurb kit for the SEGA Dreamcast controller ports PCB (circuit board) provides all the high quality parts required to ensure care free gaming for years to come.


Resettable fuse upgrade
These replacement fuses are an upgrade to the original as they are resettable. Should the fuse blow, simply turn the console off (wait 30 seconds or so) and on again and the fuse will reset.

Battery holder
Rather than a battery soldered to the PCB, this holder allows easy replacement of the battery. Sourcing a plane battery is also easier than finding one with the proper mounts attached to it. An ML2032 rechargeable battery is required unless further modification is done to allow a different type.

New power capacitor
Over time capacitors can dry out or leak, preventing them from doing their job. This capacitors job is to filter the power to ensure the controllers receive "clean" power, ensuring their components last as long as possible. We only use high quality capacitors, so we can guarantee maximum protection for your peripherals.

Resistor

Fitting these parts is not a difficult job but does require soldering, and the power capacitor does need to be put in the correct way round (negative side short leg ). The fuse can be fitted any way round and the battery holder is keyed so only one possible way to fit it.
