    Product Description

    Features:
    1. Easy to be used. Can be applied to different types of 3D printers. The default trigger distance is 0.1mm.
    2. High precision, leveling repeatability can be ± 0.05mm.
    3. The average service life of the module is more than 500,000 times.
    4. Compatible with almost all the 3D printer motherboards in the current market
    5. Good anti-interference ability, will not be affected by the platform material, ambient light, ambient temperature and humidity, etc. .

    Note:

Do not use the leveling sensor when the nozzle temperature is higher than 45 degrees!!!

PS: Just the module and cable, the nozzles show in the pictures are NOT included.

    Used with Lerdge board

Lerdge Board adopts matrix grid non-linear leveling method for the automatic leveling. The advantage of this leveling method is that it can do leveling on a non-linear plane, such as an uneven surface printed PCB bed.

As shown in the figures above, the black wireframe is the effective printing range of the printing platform. When the leveling point is set to 4 points in the system, the value selection points of auto-leveling probe on the printing platform will be all the red dots as shown above. All these red dots divide the printing platform into small squares or rectangles. Then the system will store the data for all points in the system. As a result, the print platform is divided into multiple small platforms. After leveling, when the print head moves, the system will take the measurement data of the four points around the area according to the real-time running area of the print head, and then calculate the real-time height compensation amount of the print head according to the data, to reach the goal of leveling the whole platform. For the Delta model printers, after detecting, it will expand the dead zone data based on the surrounding data.

    Auto Leveling Parameters Description:

Probe trigger mode: Set the level state when the leveling probe is triggered.

Tutorial of the film pressure leveling probe for automatic leveling

Connection of the film pressure leveling probe and the motherboard shows as below: (both positive/negative are ok when wiring.)

Leveling points:<3, turn off the auto-leveling function.

= 3, use three-point detection, and linear leveling.

                               > 3, use multi-point non-linear leveling.

X-axis probe offset: the starting point and nozzle are overlap in the X direction, just set to 0.

Y-axis probe offset: the starting point and nozzle are overlap in the Y direction, just set to 0.

Z-axis probe offset: the starting point and nozzle are overlap in the Z direction, just set to 0.

Probe for Z-axis min limit: pressure film is not recommended  to be used to level and limit at the same time. Otherwise, the module needs to be installed for each time when Z axis homing.

Probe open angle: no need to use this parameter, no need to set.

Probe stowed angle: no need to use this parameter, no need to set.

Probe trigger mode: Select HIG as the trigger mode according to the wiring diagram in the figure.

If connect the black line to the PIN of the blue circle to improve the anti-interference ability of the automatic leveling signal, but the probe's trigger mode needs to be changed to LOW.
