Yes, you need. The shipping cost you paid us is not included the import tax and VAT.

The EU's new tax reform policy, the tax need to be charged for the goods even $1.
So Officematics will charge the VAT tax first, when you get the package, you will pay the import tax.

For the other countries's import policy, You may have a tax allowance.
For example, it is free tax when the product price under $800 in USA.

Therefore, please double check your country import policy before you bought from us.

As you know, our locks is expensive, many customers reflect that they have been charged by the high tax.
This is your country policy, and out of our control.

Some customers says they never been charged tax before. they have been bought many things on Officematics.
While I have to say, if the goods you bought is too cheap, like $5 or $10, then the seller will ship the goods by Post.
The tax will be avoid in this time.

But our lock is heavy and expensive, due to the Officematics rule, we have to write the real price on the shipping invoice.
Each lock is about 2.5kg or 3kg, which can't be shipped by Post. Then In this case, customs will generally check the package,
if found that the invoice amount and order amount is not correct, it is difficult for you to clear customs. The package may be returned to us.
Especially Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Egypt, these countries import tax is high. Please double check the import tax before ordering.
